Back From Phoenix

Phoenix was fabulous. The weather was perfect and it was nice to get away and relax for a couple of days. Linden's family (Josh's brother) lives down there and every February we try to make a visit. We always drive and the 11 hours just about kills me but we do stop in Hurricane to see the Grandma's.

This is Sylar. We absolutely love him.

We went to the Ostrich Farm and fed the birds. It was a little scary at first and then it was a lot scary after the mean one tried to eat my hand. Yup, I was out of food and he was still hungry so he bit my fingers. I wouldn't recomend trying that.

Also at said Ostrich Park was the Rainbow Leerakeets. They were fun, we had little cups of necter for them, they didn't even wait for you to get in the door before they were trying to get the lids off the cups themselves. One bird even landed on my head and was playing in my hair, very strange feeling. But lucky for us none of us got "pooped" on, although they do say it's good luck.

I have been neglectful of my blog lately and while I'm sure none of you wait around to read about my life I will try and keep up on it.
